O número mais que dobra em relação ao mês de janeiro de 2023
Sorocaba inicia 2024 com resultados positivos na geração de empregos com carteira assinada. Segundo os dados do Cadastro Geral de Empregados e Desempregados (Caged), divulgado nesta sexta-feira (15), o município inicia o ano com saldo positivo de 1.364 vagas no mês de janeiro deste ano (11.653 admissões ante 10.289 desligamentos).
O número representa um aumento de 120,71%, ou seja, mais que dobra, em relação a janeiro de 2023, que teve saldo positivo de 618 vagas (10.459 admissões ante 9.841 desligamentos). Em janeiro de 2024, o setor que mais empregou foi o de serviços, com saldo positivo de 640, seguido da indústria, com 490 e da construção civil, com 273.
O saldo positivo de empregos em Sorocaba, em janeiro de 2024, ficou à frente, até mesmo, de cidades de maior ou igual porte, como São Bernardo do Campo (1.229), São José do Rio Preto (1.088), Ribeirão Preto (904), São Caetano do Sul (628), Osasco (394) e Santo André (-325).
A Prefeitura de Sorocaba também disponibiliza os serviços do PAT/Sine para todo cidadão que deseja consultar vagas de emprego disponíveis. Para tanto, o cadastro pode ser realizado pelo site: emprega brasil.mte.gov.br; pelo aplicativo para celular Sine Fácil ou, ainda, pessoalmente no PAT (Posto de Atendimento ao Trabalhador), que está situado na Rua Cel. Cavalheiros, 353, no Centro, funcionando de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8h às 16h. As mídias sociais da Prefeitura (@prefeituradesorocaba), igualmente, publicam diariamente as oportunidades de trabalho existentes.
Além disso, a nova unidade móvel do PAT atende o morador que está em busca de contratação no mercado de trabalho da mesma forma que ele é atendido no posto fixo do PAT, no Centro, ou em uma das Casas do Cidadão, ampliando, ainda mais, o acesso do sorocabano às oportunidades de emprego. Lá, o munícipe pode encontrar informações sobre todas as vagas de emprego disponíveis e tem a possibilidade de sair com encaminhamento para a vaga de seu interesse, ou seja, já com a entrevista agendada, de forma gratuita.
Já o “Mutirão de Empregos Sorocaba” é realizado mensalmente, no Parque Tecnológico, toda última terça-feira do mês, sendo um facilitador às pessoas que procuram por uma nova oportunidade de trabalho ou recolocação no mercado, com a oferta de vagas por meio das agências de recrutamento e seleção e do PAT, além de cursos profissionalizantes, tudo isso em um só local.
